It went something like this: Railing a right hander, doing about 60, up one of our fav. canyons, the rear tire lit up and put me into slide. I shut the throttle to regain traction, and the resulting jolt from the rear wheel put the front into an out of control tank slapper. Finally, the bike endoed. I got flipped off, then run over (by the Buell), then got to try out ALL of my protective equipment, for me and my bike.
So the important thing here is, the left side of the bike. There are some DHM sliders that got almost used up, but not a scratch on the frame, forks, or swing arm. Not one mark! Thanks for providing us with a great looking, functional product, that saved me ??$$$?? . --BH

Just wanted to let you all know that the sliders I purchased look great on my 12R - I bought the black powder coated one for the rear, and the silver for the front. They match exactly and look great!

"Keith, your sliders are top notch.  The materials and craftsmanship are excellent.  We all buy them in hopes that they won't ever see pavement, especially since they look so good! Unfortunately, mine did and I was saved a lot of grief by having them on BEFORE the crash. To anyone with a new bike, a set (front and rear) of Dark Horse Moto sliders should be the absolute FIRST thing you buy.

Awesome product, an idiot could install them in 10 minutes or less... and im talking about all 3 slider kits i bought, they were on within 10 minutes of reading thru the instructions... looks great too
